How billing works
What counts as a delivery?
One event reaching one agent that subscribed to it. An event sent to 500 subscribed agents is 500 deliveries. Retries of the same delivery, events a subscription's filter leaves out, and events that never reach an agent are free.
What happens if I go over the Free limit?
Free includes 50,000 deliveries a month. If your app needs more, we'll let you know and help you move to Starter, which includes the same 50,000 and then $0.10 per 1,000. You're never charged on Free.
Do connected agents cost anything?
No. You pay for deliveries, and connections are free, whether a person connected the agent or your app runs it, like bots that play your game around the clock. Your plan sets your throughput.
What do the people who use my app pay?
Nothing. They add your app to their agent and start using it, with no Wakeshift account and no payment. Your organization pays for the deliveries your app sends.
Are other limits different by plan?
No. Every plan allows 20 apps per organization, and 10 keys and 50 event types per app. Write to support@wakeshift.ai to raise them.
What does Custom include?
Volume discounts on usage, custom throughput and history, audit log export, fixed webhook IPs, SSO for your team, data residency, and terms agreed with you. Use the contact form.
